Salesforce integration

Dealops treats Salesforce as the system of record for who the deal is with — and makes itself the system of record for what was actually negotiated, writing the results back so Salesforce stays accurate without manual re-entry.

Inbound: opportunity sync

Opportunities sync from Salesforce into Dealops automatically, keeping deal context fresh:

  • Core fields — stage, owner, close date, amount, account details.
  • Custom fields — any fields your quoting process depends on can be surfaced on the deal and used in approval rules.
  • Continuous updates — changes in Salesforce propagate to Dealops as they happen, so reps quote against current data.

Outbound: writeback

When a quote is ready — on demand, or automatically at signature — Dealops writes the negotiated outcome back to the opportunity:

  • Line items reflecting the actual deal structure. Tiered and ramped lines can be written as a single summarized line or fanned out (one line per tier, or per ramp period) depending on the fidelity your downstream processes need.
  • Deal fields — contract value, term, commitment level, and other quote-derived values, mapped to the Salesforce fields you choose.
  • Document links — generated order forms and signature status.

Field mapping is configurable per organization, and writeback respects stage gates: opportunities in stages you've marked as locked won't be modified.

Renewal and contract linking

Dealops maintains the contract chain in Salesforce as deals close:

  • On closed-won, Dealops links the contract's deal records and stages the renewal — including creating or linking the renewal opportunity so the future deal exists in both systems from day one. See Renewals.
  • Contract-level fields — renewal dates, expiration, auto-renew status — are kept current on the linked records as the chain evolves.

What this replaces

Without integration, the deal that legal signed and the opportunity in Salesforce drift apart — line items hand-typed from a PDF, renewal opportunities created by calendar reminder. With it, Salesforce reflects the negotiated truth automatically, and your forecasting, comp, and renewal motions inherit that accuracy.

note

Dealops connects to Salesforce through a managed OAuth connection set up by an admin — no packages to install in your org, and no direct credential handling.
